It is with deep regret I advise the passing away of Mr. Deo Rattan, a resident of Hayward.
Late Mr. Deo Rattan & family lived in Hayward on Menon Ave for the last 7 yrs. He was a bhajania and his wife is a singer. You may have heard her at weddings. Both also sang Kirtans.
Late Mr Deo leaves behind his wife Kusum L Rattan and 2 boys.
Funeral service is at the Chapel of the Chimes on Monday 6/20 from 12.30- 2.30pm

Fiji: New laws to govern landlords and tenants

A new law to govern the dynamics of the relationship between tenants and landlords will be formulated within the next six months between the Attorney General’s Office and the Commerce Commission.
In a press conference this afternoon, Attorney General and Minister for Justice Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum said that for decades Fiji has lacked in the area of specific laws that govern the relationship between landlords and tenants.

and former head priest of SSDS NSW, Pt Vishnu Prasad Kashyap JP of Hoxton
Park,NSW.
Punditji passed away a t his home last night.
Funeral arrangements would be announced on the local radio radio stations.

By now it is probably known by all that Pt Vinod Chand Maharaj passed away on 10th August 2010 while visiting friends and family in Fiji. Late Pundit Vinod was born on Aug. 5th, 1956 in Labasa, Fiji and was one of five brothers. His brother, Late Harish Chand died some years ago and is now survived by Pratap Chand, Ravi Chand, Ami Chand and 2 sisters, Vasudha Devi and Radhika Devi.
