A multi-million dollar city is planned for Nausori
It will in addtion to having residential development will have resorts and businesses. A new bridge to the Isalnd of Muana is also palnned.
The Nakorolevu City project to promote Nausori as a tourist town will be built on a 128 acres of land owned by Muana Village land owners.
The project, which is said to have already begun and to be completed by 2020 will serve to attract more touridts to Nausori and boost the towns economy.

The Ministry of Health welcomed the Jaipur Prosthetic team from India at Tamavua Rehabilitation Hospital yesterday.
The team of six doctors and technicians will conduct large scale production of artificial limbs to address the rate of amputation and longer term mobility.
The Bhagwan Mahaveer Viklang Sahayata Samiti commonly known as ‘Jaipur Foot’ is the world’s largest limb fitting society helping the handicapped.
The Minister for Health, Dr Neil Sharma said the team would be in the country from June 6 to July 1 when 300 limb placements would take place.

A highlight of the Fiji Development Bank road show was the business workshop, which attracted villagers from the provinces of Serua and Namosi in Navua today.
Most participants were interested in agriculture loans.
FDB media officer Ms Sylvia Low said they came to Serua and Namosi to boost agriculture growth.

WASHINGTON – Transportation Security Administration (TSA) Administrator John S. Pistole this week joined the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) Regional Conference in New Delhi, India, where the 14 member states in attendance adopted the Security Roadmap on Aviation.
